AEL is the only company in Ireland presently building custom satellite, analogue / digital, and data fixed and mobile transmission systems. These require a highly skilled workforce, state-of-the-art technology and significant capital investment to constantly upgrade systems to keep step with technological advances. In addition, these systems require a high degree of technical support as every client's requirements are different.

The analogue and digital mobile transmission systems are all built in Ireland into medium to large purposely-adappted vehicles. These products are used for production, editing and transmission of all forms of TV programming from business television to occasional news. They are completely self-contained mobile units capable of operating in all environments and are equiped with self-contained power and in some cases, air conditioning, heating and living quarters. AEL currently uses this type of equipment to provide services to all the major broadcasting companies in Europe and the US.

AEL maintains a network of 700 datalink sites to betting shops all over Ireland, providing live horse racing broadcasts and data from Ireland / UK.

In Poland, the Czech Republic and Hungary, AEL is the market leader in VSAT installation and maintenance, having installed several hundred systems for all the major service providers including BT, Global Access, Unisource, Dutch PTT, GE Capital Satellites, ATT and Bosch Telecom.
